This is part of the original
building and was the part that housed the headmaster and his family.

Laindon
Park Primary school is housed in a delightful Victorian building dating back to
the mid eighteen hundreds. The
school initially began in a room behind St Nicholas church to provide a
basic education for six poor boys from the area. The success of this idea
resulted in our
present school being built a little way along the road to continue
the good work.
It
was thought to be the first primary school in the area.
It
currently supports five classes and a nursery unit.
It’s
small size creates a close knit community, which provides a happy and
successful learning environment.
